The Product of the Year Awards recognises and rewards innovative designs that successfully encompass safe, innovative and user friendly products for under 5's and there parents.

Winners receive significant exposure on Health Visitor Direct's website Product of the Year page. There will also be a website review of all award winners.

In addition the winners can use our product of the year logo on their products, literature and press releases.

All entrants that meet our clinical standards and ethical requirements will have a product review on our website.

The main focus of the Product of the Year 2010 awards is to reward inventive products that utilise:

Design: How does the design blend function and form? What is the design inspiration? What stands out about the design? What materials are used? Does it have sustainability features? Is it designed for longevity? Is it value for money?

Innovation: How does the product break new ground? What stands out about the materials used or the manufacturing process? Does it stand out from similar products in the market?

Practicality: Is the product easy to use? Is it useful, helpful and practical?
